The Common Teasel (Dipsacus sylvestris) is a common flower of roadsides and waste areas. It was introduced from Europe. In earlier, simpler times it was used to tease wool for spinning.

Great Macro Shot! Thanks for visiting my page and your nice comment. Would you believe The Little White Barn is the first photo I took using a digital camera about 7 years ago. I always liked that photo and now the poor little barn is so run down and dilapidated that I'm glad I took the picture.
